He won’t leave until forced to leave. He’s not there to serve the public (most of them aren’t), he’s there because it’s a great club to belong to and it makes him feel “special” and privileged.
Which is a shame, really, because that means we're going to have to drag him out of there, kicking and screaming, and that is just going to tarnish his record of service. That's something that I really would prefer did not have to be done, but my daughter's future is more important than the memory of his record of service, so ....
