I was told that it’s the same thing when the gov’t says you have to pay SS and Medicare ... automatically deducted from your pay ... the Left is saying it’s the same thing with this HC thing - not sure where that’s coming from ...

Not the same because SS and Medicair are labeled TAXES. This time it is “purchase” of health insurance.

It's not the same thing. The similarity is the automatic deduction, but the govt does not mandate that you buy social security or medicare. This is very different. They are requiring not only a deduction from pay, but proof that you purchased coverage.

In a sane world/court system, it would be struck down. In a world/court system where top terrorists are ordered released, who knows?
