I can’t believe I’m in the minority in agreeing with Bob here. If we believe in freedom of speech and property rights, we have to respect them even when they belong to Democrats.
I think the conservative grassroots movements have done a good job of peaceful protest, and I think it should continue.
There’s no need for us to lower ourselves to their level.
You only “respect” someone else’s Rights when they are respecting yours. THEY threw the first punch here. Everything we do in return is retaliatory.
are you blind to what they are doing to our country? fighting fair belongs in a boxing ring, not when you're fighting for your childrens freedom.
Ah yes. The theory of non-violent protest to force fundamental social change.
Well, Gandhi and MLK were successful with that, but only because they were dealing with civilized societies - not leftists.
Non violent protest will only get you killed, if leftists are involved.
You mean like our property rights when the government continues to steal money from us and us it for any politically connected ally they choose?
Remember what Thomas Jefferson said: “To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical
Oh yes...the "Bring an etiquette book to a knife fight" strategy.

The question, for those who hold freedom as the highest ideal, is not the ideas [espoused] . . . but the power [sought]. Let them rant their heads off---that is their right, which we cannot afford to infringe---but let us keep from them the political means of depriving everybody else of the same right.Further recommended reading: Nat Hentoff, Free Speech for Me, but Not for Thee.
