Joblessness can be traced to competition from foreign workers
Members of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) recently made the trip ... for a chat with a former member of the caucus, President Obama.
Chief among the concerns of black lawmakers is the president's failure to address a black unemployment rate . Sixteen percent of black workers are unemployed, and among black teens, a staggering 44.9 percent are out of work.
There is ample blame to be laid at the White House door, but the 43 members of the CBC who represent largely black constituencies also bear a large share of the responsibility. While some 8 million existing U.S. jobs are estimated to be held by illegal aliens, the CBC, like Mr. Obama, has consistently opposed tough enforcement of laws against employing illegal aliens.
.. the CBC marches in lockstep with the interests that promote illegal immigration. Since taking office last year, Mr. Obama has all but halted immigration enforcement in the workplace - a policy that enjoys the support of the CBC.
The CBC also has been front and center in the effort to enact amnesty for millions of illegal aliens and throw open the doors to still higher levels of future immigration. Rep. Yvette D. Clark, New York Democrat, whip of the CBC, stood shoulder to shoulder with Rep. Luis V. Gutierrez, as he unveiled an illegal alien amnesty bill that would provide nothing for black Americans.
The CBC also should be the vanguard of the effort to reduce overall levels of immigration to the United States. During the 2000s, the growth of our labor force - fueled by the highest levels of legal and illegal immigration in our nation's history - outpaced the growth of jobs in our economy. ....it is black workers who have suffered the most.

Minority Advocates, Constituents Differ on Immigration - Zogby poll
The findings:
In contrast to the leadership of many ethnic advocacy groups, most members of minority groups think immigration is too high.
African-Americans: 68 percent said it is too high; 4 percent said too low; 14 percent just right.
Most members of minority groups do not feel that illegal immigration is caused by limits on legal immigration as many ethnic advocacy groups argue; instead, members feel it’s due to a lack of enforcement.
* Hispanics: Just 20 percent said illegal immigration was caused by not letting in enough legal immigrants; *African-Americans: 16 percent said not enough legal immigration; 70 percent said inadequate enforcement.
Most members of minority groups feel that there are plenty of Americans available to fill unskilled jobs.
* African-Americans: 6 percent said increase immigration; 81 percent said plenty of Americans are available.

Not so long ago, I read an article about this. It was in an inner city school in the U.S. dominated by blacks. Some blacks were born in the U.S. and other blacks were from Africa. The blacks from Africa did much better than native born blacks. Educrats couldn't understand this. So a KID piped up and said something to the effect of, my dad would beat me silly if I didn't learn in school. You see the families coming over here from Africa and in THAT class had INTACT FAMLIES.

The abortion-loving, dependency-promoting, amnesty-loving Congressional Black Caucus and virtually all so-called leaders in the block community (so designated by the leftist media) are, in fact, Judases to all black people in America. Everything they do harms black people, kills black people, destroys opportunities for black people, destroys the black family, promotes death and disability, enables crime, and takes away any drive to achieve. Never have so many leaders of an ethnic group work cause so much misery, death and destruction for their own people. They should all be rounded up and a tribunal held by black Americas who can hen have them promptly shot, just like the Ceaucescus.

The best rant on this was by Terry Anderson last sunday evening on his radio show. The idea that black leaders have teamed up with the amnesty forces using the excuse ‘civil rights’ is more than repugnant to him. He maintains the CBC and Sharpton, et al are nothing but ‘Hankercheif head negroes’. Those are the Africans who rounded up his ancestors and sold them as slaves.

The fact that the blacks haven't developed a business community to the extent Latinos, Asian, and Arabs have should tell you something about said community.
Much as I believe that the illegals should have been deported yesterday, I have little sympathy for blacks that are being "ethnically cleansed" as many of us have family and friends who were, under threat of violence, ethnically cleansed from their neighborhoods by the same ghetto blacks in the past.
