Rep. Maxine Waters Calls Protesters 'Teabaggers' California congresswoman claims their side overcame tea party movement efforts to derail health care reform legislation.

Is it too much to ask for a member of Congress to show a little grace after a major legislative victory and not resort back to the lowest common denominator?
Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., who in 2008 made her own socialist Freudian slip, couldnt handle that. In an appearance on HLNs March 22 The Joy Behar Show, Waters expressed her jubilation over the House of Representative vote on health care reform on March 21.
I was very pleased. It was truly a historic moment and I almost couldn`t believe it was happening, Waters said. It was surreal that all of a sudden it all came together after a year of debate and many times thinking it would never happen.
And all this happened despite the best efforts of the tea party efforts to convince members of Congress there would be repercussions for voting on a bill that public opinion wasnt in line with, or as Waters referred to them as the teabaggers.
Thinking that the teabaggers out there had influenced a lot of people and had caused them to be on the no side, and when it finally happened, I thought, my God, this certainly is historic, Waters said. This is a moment in history that will be remembered for a long time.
The teabagger euphemism was made famous by MSNBC at the height of tea party rallies. Urbandictionary.com, cited multiple times by one of those MSNBC guests, describes it as when a man places his testicles onto someones face, or into their mouth.
Waters comment also comes on the heels of media complaints about the tea party protests and claims offensive things were said by protesters.
this is a slur and comparable to lewis being called the n-word or frank being called a homo or fag...
THIS IS THE WAY WE MUST APPROACH THIS MOVING FORWARDS. THIS DOUBLE STANDARD MUST BE POINTED OUT!!!!
Slight addition. They're RACIST COMMUNISTS. Queen Sheila's my rep - I know.
I know I’m nieve but what is the bad connotation with the term “teabagger”?...
"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." -- Matthew 5:11 (NIV Bible)
"Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you... If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed..." -- 1 Peter 4:12-14 (NIV Bible)
I remember the days when "gay" meant happy...and my dad would get so mad at us if we called each other "queer"....LOL...we didn't know why at the time....
I say we take back the term “tea bagging”- stop acting as if it is a sexual slur-
because surely that is NOT how the liberal run media and democrats like Maxine are using it? Otherwise they would be deliberately using a sexual slur against us, our parents, our children, out there at the rallies.
We must accept that they would nto be so low and coarse, and are ignorant of the sexual connotations of the term, and just take it back.
Proud tea baggers
No doubt she’d love to be a teabagger......... but no one is going to help her.
D baggers....works for me!!
Everytime I hear one of them do that, I email and/or call them and ask why they think calling the American citizenry and their family members the vulgar homosexual term ‘Teabaggers’, is acceptable?
So do I. I was on an email one time and one guy hit reply to all and mentioned ‘teabaggers’ instead of tea party and I hit reply to all and corrected his sorry ass..... that liberals know what teabaggers really refers to.
Maxine is a fister.

The RCP calls for the violent overthrow of the U.S. government...
From the website of the Revolutionary Communist Party (revcom.us or rwor.org) :
"Create Public Opinion, Seize Power: We are preparing minds and organizing forces for the time when there is a major crack in the system, whenever it comes and wherever it comes from: an opening that makes it possible to bring the future Revolutionary Army of the Proletariat (R.A.P.) into the field and wage a revolutionary armed struggle that actually has a chance of winning.
And we have said that building our party itself is the most important part of organizing forces for revolution. This is true now, and it is true looking forward to the creation of that future R.A.P. and the waging of that armed struggle.":

BREAKING NOW
Maxine Waters used a sexual, anti-gay, homophobic slur to describe Americans exercising their First Amendment right “of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
When asked about her comment Ms Waters denied she was slurring the gay community stating “Everyone knows how childish frat boys can be. This is one of their favorite frat house tricks. I was comparing the protestors to children who need to grow up.”
Excellent words for her tombstone.
“Proud tea baggers”
No thanks.
