Our rooting interest here is that The One double-crosses him and doesnt sign it at all, right? In theory, its a dilemma because conservatives want whatever meager protection for the unborn that Obamas willing to give. But if you believe that the executive orders a purely symbolic gesture thats worth nothing in practice, then who cares if he signs it or not? Better that he doesnt sign it, in fact, and proves once for and all to the suckers in the Democratic pro-life caucus just what an ignoble sellout Stupaks deal turned out to be.
Not that theyd care.

IMHO, it was a ruse all the time. A red herring.
The Dems ‘Bag o’ Tricks’ is full and they always use them. They are never straight forward.
Stupak - ruse. He was gonna vote for it all along. Most like the others too.
Slander/whitewash Tea Party Rally - ruse. Planned all along to divert attention.
Smoke fill back rooms - ruse. Reid’s ‘Louisiana Purchase’, ‘Cornhusker Compromise’ and the North Dakota Kick-back’.
Caligula had nothing on these guys. Well maybe he was more arrogant, where they are more smug.
Dems always divert attention from themselves to do their machinations privately.
Stupak bent over and got packed by Obama on the flimsy promise that Obama would sign a meaningless executive order. What a fool! I hope those who voted to put “Stupak the Packed” in office feel as thoroughly embarrassed, stupid and used as “Stupak the Packed” must feel now.
Brilliant!
That is really funny and should be faxed to Stupidpak from now until he is out of office, really it should be sent to the entire fmr “pro life” Dhimmi Caucas.
Stupak never expected anything from an executive order? He was part of the plan. Just a distraction to make some believe that there was some hope that Obamacare would be defeated. It was the plan all along. And the GD democrats know that!
Even better, and is that Spencer Abraham over his right shoulder?
Stupak - ruse. He was gonna vote for it all along. Most like the others too.”
Yeah. Bet this was just Sun Tzu strategy — look like you are weak when you are really strong to confuse your enemy. Make it look like things are in disarray, then at the last second pull out your stinger and Wham — Commies win.
I have to wonder whether this is just a temporary oversight or a deliberate message to Stupak that his usefulness to The One has come and gone.
He intended to vote all along - he was just holding out ‘til he got his piece of the pie...as were they all who pretended they might not cave.
Bills will now be decided solely on a “buy my vote” basis, not on the merits of the bill.
Of course he didn’t sign it yet, the reconciliation bill has not made it through to his desk and why would he give up the one lever he holds over Stupak?
The Order should be treated as meaningful, and the same for Obama’s failure to sign it.
That’s a good point.
I’m off the bandwagon! :)
Stupak the baby killer is far worse than Chamberlain. A few Brits I have talked to said it was all about England buying time to rebuild their military.
Stupak has no excuse.
Stupak is Stupak does....
Stupak = KAPUTS
For nothing?
Not listening to the news?
"Stupak pushes back against claims airport grant bought his vote By Susan Crabtree - 03/23/10 03:51 PM ET "
http://thehill.com/homenews/house/88645-stupak-pushes-back-against-claims-that-federal-airport-grant-bought-his-vote-on-healthcare
"three airports in his district received a total of $726,409 grants as the possible reason behind his last-minute "yes" vote. "
Gosh, he was a cheap sellout.
He was simply holding out for his piece of the pie.
He's going to sing as a save face for Stupak = but it won't be worth the paper it's written on. It will be rescinded or overridden long before the insurance kicks in.
And Stupak knows that.
Wowsers...Stupak got stupaked by Dear Leader. Who saw that coming?
(Try if you can to use stupak as a verb...in place of ‘sold out; caved; bullied’ in your posting blogging. It would be a great cosmic payback to have stupak forever sullied.)
Expect it to be signed on the day after we get Bill Clinton’s middle class tax cut.
