Our rooting interest here is that The One double-crosses him and doesn’t sign it at all, right? In theory, it’s a dilemma because conservatives want whatever meager protection for the unborn that Obama’s willing to give. But if you believe that the executive order’s a purely symbolic gesture that’s worth nothing in practice, then who cares if he signs it or not? Better that he doesn’t sign it, in fact, and proves once for and all to the suckers in the Democratic pro-life caucus just what an ignoble sellout Stupak’s deal turned out to be.

Stupak and 0bummer were just using the EO as a distraction from the airport bribe. Like a magic trick “look at this hand...”
He invented it out of thin air to cover the payoff that Obama gave him for the airports in his district.
Or alternatively, Obama agreed to remain silent if Stupak claimed the EO was promised.
In any event, I doubt Obama ever intended to sign one. And if he does, he knows that it's unenforceable.

I heard on the news that Obama was going to sign the Stupak executive order on Wednesday, March 24, the day AFTER Obama signed the ObamaCare bill.
So it looks like Stupak will get his executive order after all.
I doubt that Stupak cares. He got 700k for his district. Which only makes me wonder what he REALLY got under the table.
