I think you are right. Not only is he the wealthiest member of congress, but he takes no crap from nobody. And he probably knows a couple of “enforcers” hisself. He is NOT to be messed with.

Wonder if either of them (Issa & Susteck) have considered have their phone lines tapped or wear a wire. Would be great to get the WH on tape.....Maybe that’s why Rahm E is now doing the dirty work in the buff in the showers....The word is out that someone is taping the WH (wink)
LOL. We can’t put anything past Rahm, but Darrell is one smart cookie. I’m sure he’s thought of everything. It’s interesting to know that Issa is not a lawyer and maybe that’s one reason he’s an honest man. His degree is in business.

Issa was born in Cleveland, Ohio, the grandson of Lebanese immigrants. His net worth is approximately $251 million, making him the wealthiest member of Congress. Issa enlisted in the Army during his senior year of high school, where he served as a bomb disposal technician.
He attended Kent State University at Stark in North Canton, Ohio and Siena Heights College in Adrian, Michigan, on an ROTC scholarship, earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1976. Upon graduation, he was commissioned as an officer in the United States Army, serving as a tank platoon leader and a computer research and development specialist, among other command roles. He left the Regular Army in 1980 with the rank of captain. He later moved to Vista, California, a suburb of San Diego, where he now lives.
