Silently.
How is that disrupting?
It’s a public place and was open to all. Did everyone there have to have an ID proving that they were a homosexual?
Public park - they were allowed there. They were silent - not disrupting.
And then why the heck is a city government allowing such depravity in a public park anyway???
Here it is.
Debauchery and perversion, promoted by the city - FINE!!!
Silent prayer - BAD!!! ILLEGAL!
A public park that his tax money is no doubt funding.
But by gosh, don’t offend the homosexuals when you’re in there.
I’d like to know if the police would make such an effort at keeping the gays away from a Christian event in the park.
If those Christians or their lawyers were worth their salt, they’d set up a Christian event and call the police when the gays showed up and see what happens, and deal with the hypocrisy then.
In Boston, an anti-gay marriage Christian group met in a church. The Christians had to walk through a gauntlet of screaming, hate-filled gays taunting them. Gay-friendly Dem Mayor Tom Menino had the police under orders to let the sodomites abuse the Christians. They intimidated people trying to get into the church. There was no regard for the fact that they were exercising their free speach, assembly and religious rights, instead the police stood there allowing the abuse to go on. When the Christians finally all got into the church, the noise from outside was so loud that it disrupted their speach. The city government let this go on.
I saw a similar Sodom & Gomorrah type of scene on a videotape of an attack on a church in San Francisco. On this video you could hear the din outside. The people were trapped in the church and it took a long time for the police to get there, which was no doubt done on purpose.
