Are you saying you already have a new, viable argument against Palin, for later when the McCain thing is over?

Does it really matter what they say? She gets hammer no matter what she does. What does matter is McCain has to go.

OK, one more time.

Feel free to check my posting history. You will find many variants on the following theme, going back to way before the McCain endorsement:

I like Sarah Palin.

She has a great personal story.

And boy, she knows how to make all the enemies I want to see a politician make.

Writing "Hi Mom" on her hand was a masterstroke and exactly the kind of tweaking the MSM which we desperately need.

But she does -not- have the experience nor the solid grounding in conservative ideas to make her a first choice for President in my book.

Although I would vote for her over Obama in a heartbeat, OK?

I left something out of my description of the socialist principles:

It’s loving envy, control of others, rejection of absolute truth and covering your inner weakness with falling for the fraudulent notion of social justice and “saving the world,” because you’re really in love with yourself above all else.

"everybody already knows why sarah is doing this— she would get hammered by the left if she didnt campain for him"

I could buy the loyalty argument, but this makes her look like a political prostitute who will do and say anything based how how people will react. Though I do not support McCain, I would have no problem with her if she was doing so for the first reason. The second possibility fills me with disgust.

“So your argument is completely dependent on the future event of Palin supporting Crist.”

What would you do if she decided not to run but campaigns for Romney throughout the primaries instead? Personally I hope she is our next POTUS.....at this point. This does not mean that in my eyes she walks on water and defecates gold bricks however.

“Palin has not compromised a single conservative principle.”

She’s campaigning for that backstabbing son-of-a-bitch.

If she campaigns for Romney, I will do more than just put her on probation like when she first came out with support of McCain. I will probably be done with her.

But I don’t see any sign she will do it. Her support of McCain is best explained as upholding a promise.

Wow, you just described John McCain.

The “no experience” argument has been debunked, again and again. You’ll need something new—not McCain, and not “she’s unprepared.”

And as for conservative ideas, they are grounded in exactly the common sense and fighting spirit seen in Palin.

Supporting McCain is compromising a conservative principle.

No it isn’t. Keep up with the debate—that argument has been overturned.

Oh ok.

Great argument.

Should I reply by saying “Yes it is.”?

“Palin continues to fight for real conservative principles”

Try living in an America where every other word you hear in public is Spanish and YOU are poised as the outsider because you DO NOT SPEAK SPANISH......I experience that, and there are so many illegals walking around blatantly...

She keeps company with and supports a hypocrite who wants to give them amnesty.....I have zero tolerance to that.....You are the one who needs to wake up and stop putting her up on such a pedestal that you refuse to see the truth in her actions....Stop defending what’s wrong and start defending what’s right regardless of who it is, and that includes Sarah......

If McCain wins and continues with his agendas, it will never be irrelevant that Sarah campaigned for him.....

I don’t think I “need something new”. I’m comfortable with my position, and if others are comfortable with theirs, good for them.

McAmnesty and Romney are two peas in a pod but you condemn her only for one and not the other? How do you rationalize that contradiction in your head?

Watched it again and Yes she did say she agreed with Juan’s stance on stronger border enforcement (which if not mistaken, is a recent “conservative for the Primary” position by Juan). Sarah DID NOT say she agreed with Juan on amnesty, only agreeing on the dangers of less secure border.

At any rate, I for one will take this campaigning with Juan with a grain of salt, but will be more attentive on her immigration positions in the future. Hopefully she gets enough NEG feedback on this endorsement and let it be her one time payback.

Both Sarah and Juan seemed very cool to one another. My guess is she declined to fawn all over him and gush about his bad track record on conservatism “reaching across the aisle”, then again Cindy had some less than admiring looks toward Sarah, a bit of jealousy perhaps. There was something definately going on background that said this was an obligation being paid back and not a warm and cozy get together.

"The way she is doing it now, if McCain wins, she most likely has his support. If McCain loses, Palin will support Hayworth. He’ll appreciate her help and she can count on his support. Again, IMO, it is a win/win situation."

The loyalty argument I could accept, but this makes her look like a political prostitute. I the first case she is putting the principle of personal loyalty over what is good for her political career. The second case makes it look like whatever advances her political career trumps all other consideration. I would find that absolutely disgusting if it was true.
