Most of us know the show had officially jumped the shark by end of 6th season and has run its course. Last two seasons have watched it be driven into the ground with characters like Garbarfolo and the blonde amazon this season.
The fact that the whitehouse and ctu can be attacked as easily as digging a tunnel or driving a car up to the front door really has moved the show into the realm of a daytime soap opera with explosions and terrorists.

I’ve been a big fan from the beginning, but this year’s episode is so lame and predictable that I have turned it off and gone to bed a few times. Good show, but “been on the job too long.”

A show i’ve never watched because i have to see it from the beginning.
Will eventually rent from netflix.
As the same as the series Lost i need to know when to stop watching, What season did they “Jump the shark”?
I hate wasting my time when i don’t have to.

Darn it! About the only show I watch - on line. I cut off my satellite a year and a half ago - and watch “24” free online - on my time schedule and without the long commercials.
So I “save up” and watch 3-4 weeks at once - in half the time.
Bright side is - there's going to b a movie -
But I will miss “Jack” -

I really never watched it even though I know lots of Freepers liked it. I just can't get into 'sequel' type show because I never know where I'll be when, and the few episodes I did watch were way too unbelievable for me to get serious about.
Nothing wrong with fantasy, but the little I ever did watch was fantasy on LSD. It was way too cartoonish, IMHO.
I guess I don't have a strong enough #39;Suspension of Reality' gene to get into shows like that.

I’ve watched the show since the 1st season and love it. It’s time to end, and I hope they do it right. This and Amazing race is about the only shows I watch.
