Anyone on welfare should not be allowed to vote. Maybe a little harsh to some but it is common sense. I will take this a step further. If you have a government job no vote. Most government workers are welfare cases anyway. We don't want to hear from them in any case. Will this ever happen. Not likely.

Not harsh at all, but pure common sense. I also like your proposal about government workers. They should "recuse" themselves from the vote, as it would be a conflict of interest (or could be).

Your earlier post was on the money too. Few people know that only property owners could vote originally. I wish it were so again, but the dependent class would have none of it.
