Urban vs. the rest could become a very real scenario.
If we could scale back federal power and establish true federalism, maybe there could be a resolution to this mess we’re in. Let the states run their own affairs and PAY for them out of their own pockets. No more robbing Peter to pay Paul.
I’m not sure Canada would want to unite with the blue states. Canada isn’t as socialist as America is.

In my opinion, the last Civil War settled this one question without equivocation: It only takes 4 months for a group of states to completely replace the Federal Govt. with a new one, put together huge standing army and a reasonable navy, elect nation legislature. 4 months!!!! Think about that, they did that in the age of the telegraph. Today, it would probably take one month. The long collective nightmare could be over in one month!!!!

Ultimately, a country is not simply its geographical borders with the people inside of it. It is something more - and deeper. A nation must share a common heritage, language, culture, faith and myths. Once upon a time, Americans celebrated the same heroes, sang the same patriotic songs, read the same history and literature, and gloried in its exceptional nature: a city upon a hill, with liberty and freedom for all. It was understood that, for all of our different ethnic and religious backgrounds, America is a product of English and Christian civilization. Those days are long gone.

I expect just that and considering minorities primarily live in the cities I expect this to turn into a race war. I am not a racist and like everyone but I have never met a black person that didn’t identify first as having loyalties to his skin color. Hispanics are just as bad. Toss in economic class groupings such as living in a city and it becomes a very powerful attraction to fight together.
This ends in global war or civil war...history is clear on this.

As I said in the previous post. I have some land and a house in Wisconsin. I'm a teacher here in Illinoisistan. Last week I was on spring break so I rode up to my place in Wisconsin on Tuesday. When I crossed into Wisconsin I started seeing Confederate battle flags flying all over the place. The first few didn't hit me but I mean I saw lots of them all over SW Wisconsin. I asked a friend that I have in the town near my place what was going on and he said it's a "States Rights" thing. I didn't expect to see that in WI but it was there and it was real.
I ordered my Confederate flag and I intended to fly it along with Old Glory this year.
This free republic is dying due to ignorance, such as not knowing our history, such not knowing the JAPANESE bombed Pearl Horbor.
It would be great if America did break up. The socialists could move to the North East and California, the Freedom loving people can have the Texas, the South East and most of the heartland. Our economy will grow so much faster than theirs, we will soon kick their ass.
