If we could scale back federal power and establish true federalism, maybe there could be a resolution to this mess we’re in. Let the states run their own affairs and PAY for them out of their own pockets. No more robbing Peter to pay Paul.
No, it’s not. It’s not working any longer. We are a divided nation and the cultural divide and hatred grows each year. If you can’t see that, I don’t know what more to say. I don’t find it fun to live in a country so divided and full of so much hatred. If you don’t think it’s true, take a stroll on the web. Go check out DU, KOS, the comments on You Tube, the comments all over the internet. There is real hatred. I would rather split up than sit back and wait for the inevitable civil war which will cause a split anyway.
