From Reuters: “...talks with the Israelis would not take place unless Israel canceled a decision to build 1,600 new homes in a settlement near east Jerusalem”

From Netanyahu: “ “As far as we are concerned, building in Jerusalem is like building in Tel Aviv,” and there would be no restrictions...”

Now the construction in question is going on either in Jerusalem or near Jerusalem, and I’m not there, so I sure don’t know which.

But if there’s a conflict between the truth and something that makes Isreal look bad, I also sure don’t trust Reuters.

This Israeli coverage feels like a PR campaign by the state controlled media, just like the “out of control” TEA party protesters or the Toyota recalls felt like a PR campaign. It’s not just Reuters.
