Fact is nukes aren’t as big & bad as popular legend has it. I’m not trying to trivialize them, but they’re not the end-all uber-talisman either.
North Korea isn’t the intended target.
Go study the Cold War. And no, it’s not over.
It depends on how many others come to the party.
First, because the possibility of numerous countries teaming up against us is very real.
Second, you need to have enough to defeat every other country on Earth --- twice over, in case you lose a few nukes during the war.
Third, because 10 is not enough to deter BOTH Russian and China at the same time.
