Adam C. McDermid, 25, of 6924 74th St. Circle E., was arrested early Friday morning and charged with numerous counts of drug-related and firearms offenses.
According to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, McDermid had passed out behind the wheel of a Cadillac parked in the lot of The Distillery, a bar/nightclub on 44th Avenue East.
A deputy driving by spotted the car in the lot after business hours, and drove in to investigate.
The deputy found the Cadillac's engine still running, then noticed a marijuana pipe in the center console and woke McDermid to have him exit the vehicle. As he did, the deputy picked up the smell of marijuana.
A search of the Cadillac netted a loaded Glock pistol -- later identified as stolen in Palm Bay -- under the driver's seat, about $5,900 in cash in a bag tucked into a hatch in the rear seat, another $3,100 in cash in a shoe box in the trunk, just less than $1,700 in McDermid's pants pockets and a stash of prescription drugs and marijuana in the vehicle's center console.

Wow
Loaded for bear ...
Getting arrested will be the least of McDermid's problems. Rest assured, all that cash was destined for someone else, payment for products fronted, and this individual is gonna be none too happy.
"I'm so screwed!"
“A search of the Cadillac netted a loaded Glock pistol — later identified as stolen in Palm Bay...”
Heavens...you mean it wasn’t legal?
You mean, even with all the gun laws he STILL HAD THIS FREAKING GUN?
I am shocked. Shocked, I tell you.
I did not read past the head line.
Did he run out of gas?
A simple rule to tell if someone is a scumbag: neck tattoos.
Running on empty for a couple of decades, looks like.
Passed out in your engine-still-running Caddy at 3:00 a.m. in some bar’s parking lot with a dope pipe in plain view...
The 10 G’s and .40 cal. are a nice follow-on.
See you in 10-15.
