They got cleaned up. Not completely, though. KBS wasn't too bad even under Kim Dae-jung. The abominable pinko frog aka Roh Moo-hyun completely keeled it off to the left.
MBC still remains as bastion of pinkos and reds. You know, pinkos with N. Korean characteristics
