Some polls before Prop 8 was passed showed gay marriage winning in California by similar margins. So, it isn’t accurate to say there has been a shift in public opinion in California.

Califruitia.
Time to clean that crackhouse up.

Something tells me that the mass exodus out of Californication involves mostly sane people.

"insane cali" Does your state have it in your constitute that marriage is only between a man and a women?
Does your state have it in your constitution that marriage is only between a man and a woman and yet still recognize "marriage" as between two men or two women?
That, my FRiend, is the definition of insanity.

Could it be that the conservative residents of California have slowly moved OUT of the state ?... If so, this explains the shift in general favorable attitude towards gay marriage.
That is one aspect of it. The other is the indoctrination by the public school teachers unions (with help of the mass media), feeding the children pro-homosexual propaganda. Doesn't take too many years of this nonsense as children soon become voting adults to manifest into majority acceptance and support of those who choose the homosexual lifestyle.

That, and each year our government schools graduate mind-numbed kids who generally accept this pro-homo garbage.

I was at a service club meeting the Thursday after the 2004 election. There was a discussion at one table questioning how it was Constitutional for Evangelical Christians to even vote. The woman who raised this question is an elderly Jewish woman who was a lawyer.

U.S. District Judge Vaughn Walker ordered opponents of the amendment to turn over campaign materials and internal documents. I was wondering what was happening in CA about this. Hadn't read about it in awhile. Does the above mean the homos when it refers to "opponents"? This is reported as being back in January.
