I’m assuming they pick their victims a certain way - an infirm woman and an elderly man, for example, are not going to be capable of fighting back much. A grown man actually could, with little difficulty, kill a child with their bare hands - no gun needed. That would certainly stop them pretty quickly.

You have to deal with the mommy screaming to the press and the community that you murdered her baby. And the outrage of the community who wants to send you to prison over you killing a 12 year old.

So it comes down to keeping your mouth shut, dealing with the stress and paying a lot of money for a good lawyer.

Also watching what you say to others from now on - you don't want to casually say anything that might come back to haunt you later if you do have to use deadly force to defend your life.
