1 Thessalonians 4: 13 - 18:
But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

You can almost feel it in the air. So many things point to His soon return. I see today’s world just as II Timothy 3. I pray all the world would see what the love of Jesus can do for us.

I believe that Jesus may come to Rapture His Beloveds to be With Him - THIS YEAR!!!
If so, that means he will return to bring in His Kingdom in 2017...or there about.
Am I certain of this?
I am certain, have absolutely NO DOUBT, that His return for His Beloveds is so soon that almost all who read this will be alive when it occurs - and even more - that it is in the “season” we are now in.
What season is that? How long to seasons last?
It is the SEASON of HIS RETURN - right now!
Seasons are not “forever”.
Seasons are SHORT.
We don’t know the month (not yet) nor the day nor the hour.
But when He comes for His Own - we who belong to Him will not be caught by surprise!
It will be those who reject Him for whom this coming will be like a thief in the night.
Hallelujah! He wants the children of light - to KNOW His return is very soon - as in - almost here - as in - within the next few MONTHS - when this SEASON of his return is over - HE WILL BE HERE!

5. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection.
6. Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.
7. When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison
8. and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth--Gog and Magog--to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore.
9. They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God's people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them.
10. And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
11. Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them.
12. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.
13. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done.
14. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death.
15. If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Since the beginning of time people have been predicting the end of time. Do you know what they all have in common? They have all been wrong.
Background - I’m the son of a Baptist minister, knowledgeable about the Bible and have grown up with proclamations of, “it’s going to be this year.”
It will happen and we are closer than ever before however we should be living for Christ not living for the rapture.
We have a job to do while we are here and should focus on that job.
Just my 2 cents...
I will say that things are happening that I never thought could happen or that I would see and coincide directly with the Bible.

Why even mention that "the dead in Christ will rise first" if it were an event that no one would know had happened? The resurrection of the dead in Christ just prior to His return to reign for a thousand years will be visible and known, just as the resurrected Christ was seen, touched, and witnessed eating food. Until the actual bodily resurrection of the dead in Christ takes place, the rapture of living saints cannot happen.

Yes. It's one thing to take an isolated passage and recognize several possible interpretations. It's a whole other thing to take that isolated passage and form a hard belief based on a single interpretation.
