Well, living in the Bay-Airhead area, even the Chabad people are somewhat left of center. Went a couple times when I was saying Kaddish for my mother back in '03, and there were a few minyanites discussing their open HATRED of all things Bush, even wishing they didn't have to fly through Houston to go to the East Coast.
Needless to say, I chose to say Kaddish (also when my dad passed in '07) in private rather than having to deal with the self-loathing k!kes that pose as Jews in this part of the country.
