The next move of the Alinsky left
American Thinker ^ | March 29, 2010 | Andrew Thomas

Posted on 03/29/2010 3:41:51 PM PDT by george76

The war between the left and right has been ratcheted up this past weekend. Although a philosophical war of words, to the committed Alinsky left it is nonetheless a deadly serious war.

The progressive movement has long been known for its intolerance of opposing philosophies and its propensity for violence to attain its goals. As Noel Sheppard notes, at the 2008 Republican Convention leftist demonstrators hospitalized conventioneers with bricks thrown through bus windows and sandbags dropped from overpasses onto passing cars. The progressive media looked the other way.

Following the passage of ObamaCare, much media frenzy has surrounded incidents where a coffin was put on congressman Carnahan's front lawn (didn't happen) and a brick was thrown through congresswoman Slaughter's Niagara Falls office window. Of course, the last time someone smashed Democratic Party office windows, a Democrat was found responsible.

Andrew Breitbart raised the stakes by offering a reward of $10,000 to anyone who could prove a Tea Partier shouted the "n-word". Despite the dozens of video cameras on the scene, no one has yet claimed the prize. Next, the Associated Press attacked Breitbart in a "news" story, saying that he has no proof that the incident didn't happen. In response, Breitbart has now raised the reward to $100,000.

Thats because it did not happen.

Also, if anyone is caught inciting, Brietbart needs to take some of that cash and do a thorough background check on the perpetrator. We need to know if they're affiliated with the libs.

With the media so deep in the tank for liberals, they don’t even have to send in ringers. The media will just make them up.

I am surprised that Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks does not offer discounts to the Tea Party people.

Remember the tea party was about dumping tea in protest of taxes. It turned the USA into a coffee nation.

(of course the clueless effete left is forming coffee parties but they don’t get the irony)

“...to the committed Alinsky left it is nonetheless a deadly serious war.”

That is what I’ve been trying to get everyone to understand.

To them it’s taking down a country they hate. Can you imagine how exciting this must be for them?

Fight them, in any way you can. ALWAYS PEACEFULLY, PLEASE.

Do not give them their “Reichstag”

They are desperate for an American to act foolishly.

Don’t do damage to real Americans by acting violently.

Exactly what crossed my mind earlier today! Just more proof that leftists and the Demo-Fascist Party know next to nothing about this nation's history.

Leftists think they hold exclusive rights to hate, and they are willing to be jackbooted thugs to prove it.

Remember, though, that Hitler created his own Reichstag.

They ARE going to start killing conservatives, probably starting with Christians (esp if they can tag the label “militia” on them) instead of Jews this time around. It’s inevitable. Will it be Obama’s newly minted private armies, SEIU thugs, BATFE, other thugs in cop uniforms (as opposed to good cops), random wannabe Che’s, or something else? Who knows, and frankly it doesn’t matter.

The only things that matter are not adding fuel to the fire, staying as safe as possible, keeping our families as safe as possible, and hoping the military at some point remembers that their oath to the Constitution requires action. Maybe reminding them of that as often as possible in a peaceful and respectful way.

After all, obama and his thugs are arrogant enough to go after the military at the least sign of their reluctance to submit. That’s our best and possibly only hope at this point. (Or the miracle of elections actually being fair in 2010, but I’m not holding my breath.)

That’s part of where the TEA Parties come in - not going quietly into the dark night. I know, probably not safe anymore, but necessary, so it’s everyone’s choice whether or not speaking out is compatible with staying safe.

“...so it’s everyone’s choice whether or not speaking out is compatible with staying safe.”

They had better speak out now.

They may not have the opportunity later.

Speak out LOUDLY, people! If you want to fight them, do it with your voices, and you signs, and your websites, and bumper stickers, t-shirts, hats, flyers, etc., etc.

The free flow of information/knowledge is Kryptonite to collectivists—it’s why it’s call the FIRST amendment.

We must be peaceful, for now.

Yes. They will try to infiltrate and embarrass out movement. The old Reichstag ploy is a favorite among the Leftist (yes, The national Socialists were Leftists). They will be the moles with the swastikas, they will be the spitters and the ones screaming racial epitaphs.
I heard of an incident where a Leftist troll complained to the police that a Tea Party group was using hate speech. The guy was a mole spreading lies. In fact, his action to block a peaceful rally could be a civil rights violation.
But, two can play at that game. We need more infiltrators in OFA, SEIU. We need more James O’Keefes. This is a task best suited for the young, intrepid conservatives.

Read the comments in NY time to the Frank Rich and Charles Blow editorials over the weekend. The hate of conservatives, Republicans, and Christians in those comments is scary.

As I have mentioned before, I think the marching African American caucus in the middle of demonstrators and the next day’s drama queen’s symbolic joining of hands w/ the caucus and marching in the middle of the screaming (white) crowds was MORE than just another perfidious leftist tactic to provoke an attack.

I believe it was all preservation of a symbolic leftist narrative for future indoctrination of the kids. Remember the whole obamcare crap was sold to the public as another civil right’s moment in America’s history. They really really wanted the right image to go w/ their narrative: another leftist fib preserved for future PBS documentary programing!
