There's a lot of animosity against the police right now about the shootings. The shooting "victims" were all lowlife scum, but were unarmed, except for the one crazy guy last week who had slashed himself with a box cutter, and lunged at the officer who shot him.
Also, some of them over the past couple of years were of the minority persuasion, which has stirred up the "community", hence the keen interest by the Rev'rund Jackson.
