Fear has settled over this border town of 1,700, about 50 miles southeast of Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, epicenter of that country's bloody drug war.
Mexican families fleeing the violence have moved here or just sent their children, and authorities and residents say gangsters have followed them across the Rio Grande to apply terrifying, though so far subtle, intimidation.
At schools in Fort Hancock and nearby Texas towns, new security measures and counseling for young children of murdered parents have become a troubling part of the day.

Yup. Paying for entitlement will suck all the $$ from legimate Government functions, like border patrol, law enforcement, and the military.

Once upon a time, the criminals live in fear of getting caught. Now, thanks to cowardice on part of the press, the liberals and the courts; the police have had their power to enforce the laws curtailed.
The criminals know that the innocents have opted to be led by cowards; so they have gotten aggressive and brazen - and true to form, the cowards cower; and the innocents suffer.

They described the problem pretty well, but have no solutions, like oh I don’t know, PROTECT OUR AMERICAN BORDER. If they were to come down hard on the MS-13 and zetas, it would seriously discourage the hordes of illegals who cross our border. But no, eric holder has in custody a MS13 type arrested for murder and he has already made public that the death penalty is off the table.

It was LONG my friend.... 1000 miles? 1500? And it was VERY effective.

This weekend President Obama implemented a recess appointment for Craig Becker to head the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
On January 8th, 2001, Becker told a radio audience that he was a supporter of American businesses hiring undocumented, illegal aliens.
The man that will be implementing rules to govern labor relations in America is a supporter of breaking America's labor laws to hire illegal workers.
