They spent several hours opening the safes and set the place on fire as they left. The value of the stolen goods is still being estimated, police said"

...these kinds of robberies always make entertaining movies...who doesn't like a crime thriller?...the bad guys always get caught when a gang member does something stupid and gets picked up by the cops...this story will be fun to follow...a good diversion from the angst that Obama generates at least.

Michel Barnich, a bank customer who believes his two private safe boxes containing family jewels were emptied, said the bank's security was insufficient. "Two boys were guarding it (when he walked by one night last week). I wondered whether they were homeless people or professional security guards," he told Europe 1 radio.
Motivated enough to call a radio station after he's lost his family's valuables, but not motivated enough to do something beforehand when he had reasonable suspicion. Good on ya', Mr. Barnich.

But I left my family jewels there anyway.
Genius!
