New Catholic Bishops Memo: Abortion in Health Care Despite Obama Order
Washington, DC -- The nation's Catholic bishops have released a new detailed legal memorandum analyzing both the health care bill President Barack Obama signed into law and the executive order he issued. The memo says abortion funding is still present in the new law despite the executive order.

The USCCB needs to be disbanded.
Not only will federal tax dollars be used to pay for abortion services, you can be sure that the Obama administration will put the pressure on Catholic hospitals to provide those services in their hospitals.
Oh please. So who was STUPID enough to believe Hussein would actually remove abortion funding from the bill?? Even Stupak and his cronies knew full well it was a fraud. They simply needed COVER...and excuse to vote for the friggin’ bill.
no kidding....in the bill is in the bill. Stupak was foolish, naive or both to think that Obama or another president can simply reverse the executive order. Reversing law isn't quite as easy.
It gets more and more obvious that Christians tend to be their own worst enemies, all of them, no denomination has a monopoly on stupid!

Democrats want to control the population and especially “non producers” and persons of color. It’s been their agenda from the get go. Basically, Democrats are racists. Have always been.
How many persons of color [not counting servants and employees] has Nancy Pelosi had over for supper or a cook out? What about Barbara Boxer? Dianne Feinstein? What about Alan Grayson? How many of his close friends are persons of color? So does anyone understand that they are Pro-Abortion because they are racist?
They can’t be that stupid. Either they are incredibly naieve, or the majority felt that they could live with the prospect of more abortions in return for “increasing social justice”.

Sorry, but you’re too late.
Except for the abortion, you were all for this abomination in the name of “social justice”.
Nearly everyone on your USCCB staff is a left-wing zealot or former Democrat party activist.
You supp and dine and snuggle with the abortionist Democrat politicians like Kennedy, Pelosi, Leahy, Mikulski, and them give them regal sendoffs when they die, with cardinals and bishops officiating.
You were looking the other way when these Democrat “near occasions of sin” were doing their mischief. Now why are you surprised or disturbed when your dem friends stab you in the back (and stab thousands of little babies in the head)?
You need to apologize to the faithful of the flock whom you let down with your hypocritical association with the evildoers you now try to scold.

AMEN! And in my state the statewide so-called Catholic conference did all they could to help it pass without saying so. Now their comments ditto the bishops’: Tisk-tisk those nasty ole abortion provisions, and so glad we are now taking care of all our citizens. (Except, of course, for the unborn, the elderly, and everyone in between. Not to mention that we WILL be paying for illegals who don’t contribute to the system and therefore are stealing from the flock.)
It’s time that the bishops tell Catholics in no uncertain terms that voting people in who propagate abortion is wrong, seriously wrong. If they were to do that, they would deal a crushing blow to those who are making money and careers out of abortion. Empty threats like denying Biden and Pelosi communion does about as much as sanctions on Iran or a time out for a kid.
I wish they would get the courage they promised in Confirmation to serve God and speak up in this instance, and in unison so that their is no question. Jesus would speak up! Of that there is no question.
