Bill: AZ guns, ammo not subject to federal law

State lawmakers have given final approval to legislation designed to let Arizonans buy, sell and manufacture guns and bullets while thumbing their nose at the federal government.

A measure sent to Gov. Jan Brewer on Tuesday spells out that any firearm or ammunition manufactured in the state “is not subject to federal law or federal regulation.” That includes the requirement to register firearms.

Senate approves 6-month divorce delay

To qualify, though, the guns or bullets need to have been made entirely in Arizona “without the inclusion of any significant parts imported from another state.”

Queries to gubernatorial press aide Paul Senseman about the governor’s position on the measure were not returned. But Brewer has portrayed herself as a strong proponent of the rights of individuals to carry guns to protect themselves.

If Brewer goes along, the law would take effect on Oct. 1.

It’s catching on. The truly conservative states under Constitutional control are asserting their independence as well they should!

ANY firearms? Well then, I'll take the antiaircraft battery, and that fun 40mm gun that you see on top of APCs nowadays. BOFORS, I think it's called.

How long before the federal libtards claim that the commerce clause includes raw material, equipment, and tools used in the manfacturing process?

The real question is How Long til we Make it a FELONY to Be a Federal Agent or Federal Employee in Our great State of Arizona. Needless to say The Governor still has the POWER OF EMINENT DOMAIN AND THE KELO DECISION to begin Taking Federal Property, and I think she should start using it NOW.
