SAN ANTONIO (AP) -- The Army officer accused in the Fort Hood shooting rampage is apparently being moved from a hospital to jail.

"Attorney John Galligan says he has no official word on whether Hasan is being moved. But he noted that Wednesday was the first day of contract between Fort Hood and Bell County for a 24-hour guard and special medical support for Hasan at the county's jail." So a special guard and medical support. Great, gonna cost the taxpayers even more when they should have just killed him.

Thank You!

Now, lets keep an eye out for the articles referring to the recent Militia characters as...”suspected” or “accused” or alleged” or “...being called” etc.

I have no Idea what the deal is with those dudes, and don’t get me wrong.
But the press is just so laughable at this point.

The silence is deafening.

If they really had something on them, we would see all kinds of tapes, or reporting.

Just nothing. It just smells. Sickening.

Maj. Nidal Hasan (nih-DAHL' hah-SAHN')

Gee, thanks for the pronunciation tip. We've got to respect him by making sure to say his name in the proper way. You'll piss all over the backs of peaceful, patriotic Americans who are rightfully protesting an out of control government, but go out of your way to show deference to a terrorist worm who murdered a bunch of our finest men and women.

Thank goodness. That scum doesn’t deserve the services of a nice hospital like BAMC, where soldiers who have given a heck of a lot to their country are being cared for.

We've got to respect him...

Absolutely.

Five times each day, we must point his wheel chair towards Mecca and throw him to the floor.

Wednesday was the first day of a 183-day, $206,796 contract between Fort Hood and Bell County for a 24-hour guard and special medical support for Hasan at the county's jail in Belton.

Paul Krugman should be asked whether this is affordable by his deathpanel standard.

He’s still in the military, he should be in the brigg.

I'm surprised he is in a civilian jail. Does this indicate that Obama isn't going to pursue a military trial?

Fort Hood has no jail or brig. They contract with the county jail to house prisoners. One of my soldiers was in for several months until he was sentenced to ten years for aggravated robbery and a few other charges.
