Agreed. I was trying to comment on his obnoxious victory lap. I think it was Vince Lombardi (not sure, though) who told his players, “When you get to the end zone try to act like you’ve been there before.”

“Half black, half white, governs half of the country, half assed.”

Good one. Would make a TeaPary sign. April 15th TeaParty here we come.

“Unless you have 2/3 of both houses of Congress to override a Veto, Obamacare will stay as long as Obama is in the White House.”

If true, we’ll have to wait until 2013.

If untrue, we may only have to wait until 2011.

Either way this will be rejected, unfunded...or there will be war.

Count on it.

Mr. Obama ridiculed Republicans for apocalyptic predictions about the health care program and needled them about their campaign platform calling for repeal, repeating the “Go for it” challenge he issued in Iowa last week.

Ridicule all you like you piece of fecal matter. Rest assured that it will indeed be a focal point of the process to remove democrats from their offices of abuse.

“Unless you have 2/3 of both houses of Congress to override a Veto, Obamacare will stay as long as Obama is in the White House.”

That’s true. But it would be fun to force him to veto it just to remind everyone that he is standing firmly against the wishes of the American people. He wouldn’t be able to vote “present” this time.

Even if he tried a pocket veto, we could still count down the days until the veto takes effect and make a big deal of it. I’m really so tired of making everything so easy for this clown.

I always thought Maine was a New England state, the most eastern of all 57.

Oh I’m not saying don’t fight.

I just think our efforts would be better spent fighting other things - things we might actually make progress on.

We won’t have 2/3 of the Senate. The best we could hope for is 58 out of 100. That’s if Republicans win every single Senate election, which is very unlikey.

There’s more than one way to get a Senate vacancy.

Oh, no; I didn’t think you were in favor of giving up the fight. And I agree with the idea that defunding it would be our best shot with congressional action. Maybe the courts will come through and make all of it a moot point.

I’m just saying that we should do everything we can to keep it stirred up and remind everyone who gave us this legislation and do all we can to gut or get rid of it entirely.

What was that thing Pelosi said about going through the gate and over the fence and pole vaulting and parachuting? All of that and more might be in order now.

There’s nothing more obnoxious than a bad winner.....

That’s absolutely right, one only need look at what happens
when democrats win, are they magnanimous in victory? No.
Winning to dems is a chance to get even, to push their
opponents that much farther down in the mud.
Republicans don’t do that, which is why democrats continue
to rise up and kick ass after being defeated time and again.
