“Although the Alabama Legislature is dominated by Democrats (with Democrats holding a 62-43 advantage in the House, and a 22-13 advantage in the Senate), the Legislature is considered one of the most conservative in the nation.”

This would indicate that the Republicans in the House would have to be joined by 10 Democrats.

The house will be a much tougher nut to crack, but there is the advantage of this being an election year — as shown by even Far left liberal Congressman Artur Davis voting NO on ObamaCare.

The lefties won’t want to go against the chosen one, but they also know that thier seats are on the line if they do not let this go to the people of Alabama for a vote.

Also, this one is the BIG ONE in this battle — once on the ballot, we here in Alabama must pass this overwhelmingly — I am talking 75% or more. All the other states have done it through legislation and the Governor signing.

Here in Alabama this will be the PEOPLE saying to the entire nation, WE DO NOT WANT THIS!
