Verizon will record a $970 million non-cash charge in first quarter related to the recently passed health care bill.
The charge reflects the change of the tax treatment of Medicare subsidies, according to a regulatory filing from the New York-based telecommunications company Thursday.

Well lets see. We can play the race card. We can play the right wing militia card and on it goes. These people are so predictable.
You know what is funny?
2~3 years ago I noticed all the “hip” folks had Bluetooth and Aircards.
Now no one uses it.
I saw a 68 year old bubba at tractor supply wearing a bluetooth this week. A sure sign that the wave is over.
But nobody put a gun to anyone’s head or wrote laws three years back to force folks to pay big bucks for goofy stuff that made them look important or “plugged in”
I like the market.
You wanna spend money on the latest craze ie global warming/Iphone/whatever.. go for it.
But don’t give me a mandate to participate.

Folks, we need to contact some of these companies and let them know we support them, and to stand strong against these thug tactics from the Dems.
Rush spoke about this today, encouraging them to hang tough, and throw this crap right back at Waxman!
