Well, they're both Harvard types so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
As for this doctor in FL...he's just begging for a lawsuit or some disciplinary action from the state licensing board.
they'd have to prove he's denying care..he's not. I hope he stands up to whatever criticism he gets...we've layed down too long and voices have to be heard.
“As for this doctor in FL...he’s just begging for a lawsuit or some disciplinary action from the state licensing board.”
I agree with you that all types of retaliations will be attempted, but do you feel that they are justified? Do you believe that our forefathers intended for the law to limit free speech in this manner?
I, personally, have had it up to here with these whiners who want to jail or muzzle anyone that uses offensive language. But, the real kicker is the unelected, liberal judges that get to selectively decide just which speech is offensive. Their goal is nothing less than mind control and suppression of dissenting speech!
My Internist in Asheville, NC. who see lots of medicare/medicade patients and is in an office alone, says last year he saw a total of 120 more patients and earned $8,000. less than the year before. Something’s got to give. He says he’s looking into going private.
My neighbor’s internist has a sign posted in his office: “We are no longer accepting any medicare or medicade patients.”
He needs to be educated on the realities of the Canadian system. I had a friend diagnosed with a heart condition. It took them three months to get an appointment for a followup in-depth scan, requiring traveling from North Bay to Toronto for the exam (about 250 miles). It confirmed she needed a triple bypass. Because of its seriousness, she was placed on the "expedite" list. Even with that, she was scheduled for the surgery seven months later. She died within two months. Say what you will, stating their system is "underfunded" is a bad joke.
