Obama's Approval Rating Hits New Low
CBS ^

Posted on 04/02/2010 10:21:30 AM PDT by Chet 99

Last week, President Obama signed historic health care reform legislation into law -- but his legislative success doesn't seem to have helped his image with the American public.

The latest CBS News Poll, conducted between March 29 and April 1, found Americans unhappier than ever with Mr. Obama's handling of health care - and still worried about the state of the economy.

President Obama's overall job approval rating has fallen to an all-time low of 44 percent, down five points from late March, just before the health bill's passage in the House of Representatives. It's down 24 points since his all-time high last April. Forty-one percent of those polled said they disapproved of the president's performance.

When it hits below 25% be fearful, because at this point some sort of reistchtag type event may take place and elections suspended, if he thinks he can win another election, that is the only way we will get our country back, because he will risk an election then.

Be careful.

The MSM may now start to UNDERESTIMATE Zero's disapprovals so if he has a slight rise between now and Nov. they can say how miraculous his "comeback" is.

Always beware.

This weekend I am attaching a Hammer and sickle picture with Obama name to the rear window of my Pick up truck.

I'll drive through NY, NJ, PA.

I have had it. Let Obama voters be proud of the communist bastard they put in the Whitehouse.

Haiti would be a good place. Especially since he doesn’t have a Green Card to stay here.

Wanna bet that he’ll come out and say he doesn’t want to run again?

I'll take your bet and raise you:

Pop stars Gloria and Emilio Estefan will host President
Barack Obama at their Miami Beach home for a Democratic
National Committee fundraiser. The president is slated to visit
Florida in April to discuss the U.S. space program. The Democratic Party cocktail reception will run $30,400-a-couple.

Of course a CBS poll won't ever register as low for Obama as they did for Bush because they are heavily left- leaning.

The numbers for Bush were skewed heavily, and completely off-base, and so are the numbers for Obama.

His approval is not this high, and it must pain CBS to report even a leftist set of numbers that don't approve of their god.

Note that this is a poll of “adults”, which tends to favor Democrats. If he is doing this poorly among “adults”, imagine his ratings among voters.

“Laid off ACORN workers.”

Laid off ACORN workers are all being hired by a new organization that is the same as ACORN, except for the name.

Lawmaker (Issa) Releases Report Claiming ACORN Operates Under Different Names

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2485424/posts

The document, titled “Asset Transfer and License agreement” shows that Bertha Lewis, chief executive of ACORN, sold the group’s assets to the newly formed Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment (ACCE) in exchange for cash.

ACCE has hired former ACORN employees, purchased the ACORN database of dues-paying members and bought a database with “e-mail contact information for approximately 16,202 potential contributors residing in California.”

Most of the 20 chapters of ACORN are organizing under new names, a source within the group told Reuters.

The way the article starts it is as though they expected people to be pleased with the President for pushing through and signing into law legislation they strongly and overwhelmingly opposed. Of course his approval has gone down - he is doing things the people clearly don’t approve of - it stands to reason.

The great thing about Obama is that he will not let up on the changes that he wants to make to American life and wealth distribution - so, the November election will be all that more interesting and hopefully a complete rejection of Obama and the democrats.

I do wonder how the democrats plan to turn this scenario around - it seems that they don’t have a plan, but that simply cannot be the case.

I think there was some accepted conventional wisdom that he would be able to convince people to like ObamaCare, once it was forced through. That danger still lurks. People are stupid and gullible (if they weren’t, Obama would not be president and Pelosi would not be Speaker).

I should also add that Bush's lowest ratings were after year after year of lies, hatred and bashing from the media and the political left.

These low approval ratings for Obama are coming after years of adulation, slobbering and genuflecting to him, and lies on his behalf.

These numbers are remarkable, given the circumstances.

Since this is a See?BS poll, you can guarantee that the numbers have been skewed as much as they dare. His real negatives are probably over 50% and his positives are probably hovering just below 40%.

Is there a “could not possibly disapprove more” option in these polls? I’d go for that.
