....there was no “Marshall Plan” for Chechnya...

Actually, there is. In fact Russia has spent billions reconstructing Chechnya. With Putin's blessing the Chechens have even built on Russian soil the largest mosque in Europe.

Doubtless Medvedev will keep his promise. He and Putin both have goons. Nuff said.

Your description of the Chechen moslem uprising is almost identical to the narrative given to me by a Russian physician I spoke with back in 2002. I asked him about what I saw on the Documentary, and his description was virtually the same as yours.

However, you left out the public beheadings of Russian Orthodox priests, Slavic Baptist ministers, and Rabbis. The common Christians were just lined up in front of trenches and shot.

The bombings in Moscow in 1998 that killed over 300 people were the final straw. That’s when the Russians started the second war and cleaned house.

In 2004, when the UN was crying about the refugee crisis in Iraq caused by the “bararic” Americans, I remember reading in the Moscow Times that there were hundreds of thousands of Chechens in refugee camps all over the Caucasus.

The article was citing concern from some quarters that there was no medicine, no clean water, no sanitation, very little food, no clothing, no bedding, and winter was coming.

The Russian response was to repatriate the Chechens after forming the new government there. But the repatriation process described in one camp went something like this.

The Russians came into the camp with the new Chechen constitution. If you ratify the document, and your papers are in order, you can go back to your burned out, bulldozed town. Some of the people in the camp took umbrage and asked, “What about the human rights violations.” The head of the Russian delegation responded with said, “You want to go home? Sign here.”

I still think they was too soft on muzzies. Not as extremely softcore as it is done in Afghanistan or Iraq now but still doesn’t hard enough considering a level of threat. They were need just to build a wall on Chechen border to make them secularized or starved to death. They were wrong to start rebuilding it and feeding these thankless trash again.

The only real way to deal with terrorists is to convince them that Allah does not will for them to prevail in the world in this generation. That requires the utter destruction of the primary military force of Islam. Right now that is Iran. In ă short time, if the problem is not properly dealt with, it will be the Iranian Empire with the resources of all the Middle East at its command, including what will be left of Israeli technology and wealth.

I feel sorry for the Russian people, but as long as Putin sells nukes to Iran, I hope Russia continues to enjoy the “blessings of allah”.

Putin is one scary dude. I've spent some time in Ukraine and it's common knowledge in that part of the world that Putin runs the show, that Medvedev is nothing but Putin's puppet. And he most definitely has plans to re-form the empire.
