The only real way to deal with terrorists is to convince them that Allah does not will for them to prevail in the world in this generation. That requires the utter destruction of the primary military force of Islam. Right now that is Iran. In a short time, if the problem is not properly dealt with, it will be the Iranian Empire with the resources of all the Middle East at its command, including what will be left of Israeli technology and wealth. If that is allowed to drag then the next phase of World History will be the contest for paramountcy, even survival, between China and the Caliphate. By then the USA will be a cipher or a client state of Baghdad(the Iranian Caliphate, when proclaimed, will likely be set up in that city).
