But Clinton getting a little on the side is totally different from people getting their pockets picked big time and their health care being destroyed.
Especially seniors, who use health ins. quite a bit.
When I was young, I never used it. It really didn’t matter that much to me.
Now that I am older and have some substantial health issues, it is a MAJOR concern. Also, seniors have a lot of pain and disability issues. Those are the people who are going to suffer under the bill - it’s not hard to get catastrophic care, but wait until it’s a quality of life issue.
Seniors talk about this stuff all the time. While playing cards, etc. Health is the big topic. That and their kids. Believe me, they are upset about this, and with every new ache and pain brought up at the rummy table, this will constantly be on their minds. And if their kids can’t get jobs, I can promise you Obama will be undone around the card table.
agree. I am 68 and never paid much attention to health care insurance, etc, even though I am a physician. NOw is a whole new ballgame when suddenly aware that old age is here much to my shock. And the people running the government want me not to use precious resources treating my ills. People my age are truly disturbed by this.
Odd thing is I would gladly pay more for medicare,,we pay more for part B because it is income tested. But I would pay more for the premiums and more for the docs if they would get the money.
My sister who lives in Dallas had a helluva time finding a Doc to care for her husband who has cancer,,he is a doc himself and she had to beg. Docs there are refusing medicare because of reimbursement issues. ANd to get them to see you outside medicare is a pain that most won’t do,,it is illegal without special contracts, etc. They won’t go there.
What is coming for us is going to be murder, plain and simple. And old people know it. We are “in the way” of creating the new society plus we have estates the government wants,,
