Ohio AG approves ballot measure against health care reform

Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray last week signed off on petition language that would bar federal health care coverage mandates from taking effect in the state.

Getting 400,000 signatures is going to be easy with the power of the Internet. Any registered voter for the state of Ohio who is interested should go to the following Web Site and sign up. Then go to your e-mail list and send this message to 5 people, those 5 you reached should send it to 5 more and before you know it you have over 800,000 names.

Once you're signed up when the official petition is available they know you're a signer and you will be contacted.

Wow. I preregistered on this and this is the first I heard the good news.

I signed up on this website so now I’m confused. Aren’t we going to now have an actual petition - the other was like a pre-petition. I don’t want to send if I’m just resending what I already sent - not to five friends but more like 20 here in Ohio.

When you sign up at this site you're telling them you want to sign and or collect signatures. As soon as the petition is written they will send you one to sign.

I really think they are half on the ball. I say that because there is software out there for less than cheap where they could have done an e-mail blast to every voter in the State of Ohio, but they're trying and I think we'll end up with a million signatures.
