To be more specific, one segment of the Gates Foundation does support UN policies. It’s run by Bill Gates Jr., Bill Gates III’s father. And yes, it’s a significant amount of money.

But the much, much, much larger portion of the Gates Foundation is now run by Bill Gates and his wife Melinda. Melinda is Catholic and has influenced the direction of that funding toward supplying life saving drugs and projects in the third world. In many ways, contradicting the UN. They also provide substantial funds to education.

It’s unfortunate that any of the Gates wealth goes to negative policies but it’s important to note that relatively speaking, it’s a small amount.

But my point is, unless you know where Google as a company or those that derive wealth from Google spread their “charity”, being offended is a poor excuse to boycott anything. Contributing funds to UN population control would be a far more serious flaw assuming Google doesn’t do the same.

Our convictions have to be more than skin deep.

Completley agree Bill Gates is off his rocker and is a big global warming nut too, but he really doesn’t have anything to do with Microsoft anymore. Also if we apply that logic I guess we’d have to shutdown all our computers because they all appear to have liberal overtones to them.

But at least Bing is honoring Christian holidays whereas Google gives them a slap in the face.
