What do you mean, “mark”?
I looked at the form pretty close, and one thing I noticed was this:
It was about 20 or so questions, however many. They were enclosed in a kind of “blue box” compared to the white borders of the form.
Question 1 was basically how many people live here.
The odd thing was, question 1, AND QUESTION 1 ONLY was enclosed in a blue bow that was SLIGHTLY off color to all the rest of the questions in this other, much larger, blue box.
So it was almost like if you didn’t notice it, you would assume that all questions were required to be answered. But which ones actually were?
I filled in box 1 with 1, there is one inhabitant in my house.
If they knock on my door and ask my name I will probably ask them if I am under arrest, and if not, then they can pound salt.
to read later.
LOL - I can't see how race is a part of the Constitutional "apportionment process" since that disagreement you might have heard of called the Civil War. As a matter of fact, if you look up Article 1, Section 2, Clause 3 in any legal journal (on or off the Web) it will have a little asterisk sending you off to the 14th Amendment - you know, the one that specifically changed the enumeration away from any link to race?
Far from an exhaustive study...
I'm sorry sorry to have posted a deficient analysis. Tell me, what relevant part exactly of Title 13 did I leave out?
Well based on the research I've presented here, you could print out the summary statement I included to give to any cops that show up, and ask them what law you've violated.
But, also based ont he research I've presented here, I highly doubt any cops are going to show up.
I noticed that too. From the research I've done, I think it is a ruse - they know a lot of people know they can only count heads. But they also know that people don't have to respond to their head-counting. So they make a box around the head-counting question to make it seem it is the only thing you have to answer, when in fact, you don't have to answer anything. Then, if you answer that one question, they follow up and say, well you agreed to fill out the form by answering that question, so now answer the rest.
But no matter what (as I explained above), I don't see that you have to answer anything - now or later - no matter what you've volunteered so far.
BTTT. Thanks for posting!
If they dont send a form you dont have to fill it out right?

WOW. Incredible amount of legwork you’ve done to compile this — I commend you!
face a Census worker knocking at their door, no longer “requesting,” but demanding, answers to personal questions
__________
They already tried that. I told them to get off of my property and get their car off too and that I was going to call the cops on them. They had no right to park on my property. I gave them the required info over the phone, how many lived her and told them we were done. Put refused on the rest.
That’s what I did too — I’m a member of the “human” race, not of the “white” race.
Man, I hate racism. This census invites it.
Yes, I think they'll just be happy to have a form turned in - regardless of what it contains.
I'd return the "community survey", after I'd shredded it.
What do you suppose is the reason behind the extra Hispanic question? Making sure Cubans get under counted since they tend to be Republicans? They didn’t ask what kind of white like European? Or Russian? Or Australian?

That extra Hispanic question is a puzzle. Doesn’t make sense to me all the breakdowns in ethnicity, and just “white” for anyone of Caucasian/European ancestry.
The thing is, there’s only one race of humans: “human.”
Well I answered "American" for my household. If they want to count us all as white that will be an over-count of one for sure and possibly three depending on how they play with mix race numbers.
Either way it's no skin off my nose. If I gave a sh*t about their racial classifications I wouldn't have answered American.
bookmark for later
A bump and thanks for posting.
