Someone (maybe it was me, I don’t remember) posted a thread about Rove’s upcoming (at the time) book. I remember thinking to myself, this will be an interesting read. Meanwhile, on the thread, other FReepers were claiming, “I don’t need to read it.” Cracked me up.
For ex., WMDs? ANY sight trace element should have been touted as proof and case closed. The 550 tons of uranium yellowcake should have been unveiled INSTANTLY, regardless of the terrorist threat, because the long-term loss of confidence in Bush was more dangerous. Ultimately, though, what did Bush in was his 90-degree swing to the left in hopes of buying votes.
