I don’t know that he’s going liberal—he still has a 98 from the ACU, and a 100 in 2009—but I was disgusted with his quoting the Lord against fellow conservatives for daring to criticize John McCain. “First remove the beam out of your own eye. . . .”
If I lived in Oklahoma — which I don’t — and it was a vote between him and a Rat, I certainly wouldn’t vote for the Rat. I wouldn’t even stay home. But if it was between him and a true Tea Party candidate, I wouldn’t hesitate to choose the latter. We need representatives who can spot a snake in the grass when they see one. Who aren’t always looking for excuses to compromise with their “friends”. Who don’t read the New York Times to get “diverse viewpoints”.
