Teen Birth Rates Fall in 2008 After Two Year Increase, Abstinence Credited

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Teen birth rates fell in 2008 after increasing during the two years prior, the Centers for Disease Control said today, and backers of abstinence education credit their programs as making an impact.

The CDC's National Center for Health Statistics reported today that the full birth rate fell two percent in 2008.

Or possibly the sky high rates of STD’s has destroyed the fertility of population to such a degree that there are less pregnancies? Self regulating throttle. Over population problem solved.

That should help push our current birth-to-death ratio down below 2.1 which is the minimum required number to maintain a population. Below that and your population starts decreasing.

No need to worry. The Third Worlders in America are busy taking up the slack having more children with the help of your tax dollars!

uhh....I don’t know about you, but as the father of teenage daughters, I would like to think there is a better way to keep our population numbers up than unwed teenage mothers.
