ROCKVILLE, Md. (Associated Press) -- Former Republican Gov. Robert Ehrlich wants his old job back, and he's challenging the Democrat who ousted him four years ago in a rematch testing whether a blend of GOP, tea party and independent voters can make a difference in heavily Democratic Maryland.
Ehrlich launched his candidacy Wednesday in Montgomery County, the state's largest jurisdiction and a key battleground as the home of nearly a quarter of the state's registered independent voters.

Ehrlich is a RINO. I’ll vote for him over O’Malley, but only because he’s the lesser of two evils, and not by much.
O’Malley has taxed us to death in the last 4 years. 3000 million for this and 300 million for that, He borrowed from the stimulus and still we cant get our roads fixed.
He has been a disaster.
I will welcome Ehrlich back, I only hope when he runs this time he makes a decent pick for Lt. Governor.
By the way Ehrlich sked for a slot machine bill and the Democrats wouldnt pass it, As soon as O’malley came on the scene they passed the slot machine bill, but the Government wanted such a big slice of the pie that no one would buy a contract for them. What a dork.
This guy Mike Miller is even worse than O’Malley, what a crook he is.
Ehrlich is definitely the lesser of two evils, and O’Malley has been an unmitigated disaster. He is to Maryland what Obama is to America. Almost.
I think that the legislature’s grant of slot machines to O’Malley when they denied them to Ehrlich is proof of institutional corruption in the state house. However, I never wanted Ehrlich to get slots, either, and I was glad when they didn’t give them to him. I was really upset when they gave them to O’Malley, and thoroughly amused that no one wants the contract!
Ditto. Let's dump O'Malley.
