We are armed. Still the very thought of this kind of violence in our own cities and towns as was seen during WW II is frightening. I hope we can stop it before it is too late and comes to this.
And here, he is setting the stage where the military may second-guess whether it ought to follow the orders of the government, and where the government will not trust the military to carry out their orders. That's very, very, very bad.

This section of ObamaCare establishes an Officer Corps and a Ready Reserve Corps. Officers appointed by the President and Ready Reserve bypasses Civil Service. This is NOT the National Guard.

i agree about the evil part..I told this to my friend last week..said he was an evil Marxist in the fashion of Stalin..she said I was mad and we would have to agree to disagree. She will be in for the surprise of her life. Her hubby is a reserve Police officer ( and a MD in the bargain who gave up medicine several years ago because of the of the dictates of HMOs).

This healthcare bill two page hellish crappy plan states that the PRESIDENT now has the power to engage the national reserve in our OWN COUNTRY to work alongside the 6,000 private army...and the PRIVATE ARMY group will be OVER the national guard or will be the supervising commanders.

I agree and what is more maddening is that during the campaign cycle in which this commie was elected, more people could tell you who won American Idol or Survivor than could tell how is the Sec of State or VP or House and Senate leaders were then.

Chavez built his force of "Bolivarians" who are civilians recruited from the slums, armed with military weapons who do his bidding. He uses them to do work that his military and police won't do.
His political enemies are regularly assaulted on the streets and sometimes killed by what is dismissed as random street crime. Same with troublesome reporters.
Obozo can Command whatever he wants, but making it happen is quite another thing.
...And some prisoners to be released in the not too distant future. (See Van Jones, Bernadine Dohrn, etc..)
Europe has become a mission field, and so are we.
We are in this mess because slightly fewer than half of Americans can distinguish truth from falsehood. Its a moral and spiritual battle as much as political. And when you let your enemy educate your kids, in a couple of generations you find yourself painted into a corner wondering what happened.
So, yes, I agree with you. Pray for a spiritual awakening in this country.
