In a letter to the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Associate Dean and Professor of Law at the University of California, Berkeley School of Law Goodwin Liu, a nominee to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, apologized for dozens of omissions from his Senate questionnaire.
The original submission of my Senate Questionnaire on February 24 inadvertently omitted a number of items, Liu wrote to Sens. Pat Leahy, D-Vermont. I would like to offer a sincere and personal apology to you, to the Ranking Member Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala. and to the entire Committee for the omissions in my original submission.

Liu is another one of Obama’s fringe appointments. Republicans should not roll over on this oen.
They may not roll over on this one, but there little they can do to stop it. Remember McAmnesty wanted NO filibuster over appointments to the bench and the “gang of 14”? Think it will be different now?
Sure gives You a warm fuzzy feeling about the quality of his work if he ever gets on the Bench!!!!! What will he forget and overlook and Lie about when Cases come before Him???????? Looks like one more quality Thug nominated by OBOZO!
Translation: got caught lying through my teeth. so I will grovel shamelessley to the Powers and Be in the hopes that one day I will be One of Them.
Some claim that this guy falls under the catagory of “extraordinary circumstances” that the Gang of 14 agreed to.
“Remember McAmnesty wanted NO filibuster over appointments to the bench and the gang of 14? Think it will be different now?”
At least as long as he has an opponent for his seat.
The explanation was not received warmly by Sessions and the other Republicans on the panel, including Sens. Orrin Hatch of Utah, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, John Cornyn of Texas, Jon Kyl of Arizona, and Tom Coburn of Oklahoma.
At best, this nominees extraordinary disregard for the Committees constitutional role demonstrates incompetence, Sessions said in a letter to Leahy, adding that at worst, it creates the impression that he knowingly attempted to hide his most controversial work from the Committee. Professor Lius unwillingness to take seriously his obligation to complete these basic forms is potentially disqualifying and has placed his nomination in jeopardy.
Another clown for the ninth circus?
HA! Ain’t that the sad truth!!!
He has the support of Ken Starr?
What’s the frequency Kenneth? For your brain. It must be off.
