Ots of these “alliance” organizations are GOP machine type orgs, run by/led by old GOPers out-to-pasture for whatever reasons. I am $keptical of the motive$ for thi$ federation and alliance$. If they don’t a$k u$ for $$$, I will be $urpri$ed.
Trust me I have already been getting emails to donate to the original group. In fact I received one email for the Brown race the day before the election so they could run an ad. I am shocked I am still on email because I was disgusted that they had the nerve to ask for money for an ad for a race that was the next day.
I noticed the same thing — not sure if it is a good or bad idea — it is good they will be above to cover more area but it is bad in a sense you lose the individuality that made up the Tea Party movement.
The jury is out on whether it is a good or bad idea.
