We’re part of the country, whether we agree with the government or not. If the country suffers the judgement of God we will be affected also.

That’s a good collectivist viewpoint, but speak for yourself. No government speaks for me.

So if God judges countries that hate Israel (which is not true of most Americans), why are all the Israel-hating Middle East countries, or even European countries which are very anti-Zionist, and anit-Israel still in existence?

Bingo. When Pharaoh ordered that the first born of the Hebrews must die (trying to kill off the deliverer -- Moses) did God's response limit itself to just the government and the military or did everyone suffer? The government charts the official course for our nation. We are a Constitutional Republic and supposedly our government is an extension of our national will. We were foolish enough to put them in office and the God of the universe will punish us for our foolishness.
