You know, at $7.50 an hour I might apply for this just to get a bit of a workout and hang out with some people and make a couple of extra bucks

It isn’t just the wages, its the tips. : )
Minimal hours, low pay, a zero challenge job, an anti-intellectual trash talk environment, an expectation of knowing street lingo like ‘P addicts’ and an employer who has no respect for his employees. Yeah, sounds like a great job for someone coming out of rehab. On the other hand, the telly might be more productive in the long term.
Your might want to reconsider heading down ther for this work.
It works out to about $104 a week take home, less what it costs you to drive to and from the job. If you have any kinds of smarts - which is obvious that you do since you are here with us on FR - you will use that time to put far more money in your pocket and simply pay the exercise bill to the local gym.
Oh man, and I was all up on applying for the job. Honestly did not know what “P Addict” was.
