Thomson Reuters has commented on it in their internal website, calling for meetings on ROE with the Pentagon and bemoaning the US’s inability to distinguish a camera tripod from an RPG. I look at the video and I see armed members of the Mahdi Army, including one with an RPG, actively targeting US troops, pointing their weapons at the chopper as it films them. I see an enemy waiting for the Bradleys to arrive so that they can kill as many Americans as possible. I see the helicopter crew neutralizing the threat. If the photographers hadn’t been hanging with the terrorists with a battle impending, they would have been safe. They, as well as the chopper crew, could see the AK-47’s, grenades and RPG launcher.
